Sudden death, sudden death!

It took just couple of seconds: my swedish neighbour is
sitting on the sofa..cup of coffe in one hand, worry in his eyes,
probabily snus under his lips. His hockey team (MODO) is
playing extra time of the fifth game of the final, and it's suffering,
simply suffering..statistics confirm: shoots on net
says 15 for LINKOPING.. 0 for MODO..

it's just one minute left, MODO coach calls for a time out..
all the players around him, I wonder what he is saying..
Calle (my neighbour) instead doesn't seem to want any break,
still sitting on the sofa, concentrated, watching deeply
towards the tv..I wonder what it's in his mind..

time to play again..just few seconds left
when the miracle takes place.. all the arena, filled up with
thousands of MODO supporters, explode.. also Calle
stands up and frees all the tension with a viking shout
..Kuusela, the guy in the picture, has just scored the
most important "mål" of his life..sudden death..
the game is over..sudden death for LINKOPING..

it's time to party now, but not that much..in 48h there is another
game, maybe the last one, maybe the decisive..
LINKOPING vs MODO another time..everybody will be there,
everybody with the beard a little bit longer..it's a tradition here,
every swedish hockey player stops to shave himself at the
beginning of the play off games..
what!? the guy in the pictures hasn't got long beard??
yeah..you are right.. but he is Kuusela, he is finnish..
